an address of a different kind

​What’s flatter than a mountain, larger than a butte, smaller than a plateau, higher than a valley and features two or more steep, cliff-like sides?  It’s a Spanish term dating back to 1759 that refers to “high table land” and is commonly seen in arid and semi-arid parts of the southwestern U.S. and Mexico.  As you drive into the North Fork Valley, you’ll see many examples, no matter which direction you arrive from.  read more
