The Raggeds Trail #820 is managed for ATV and motorcycles use on the southern portion and the northern portion is for non-motorized use.
The Thousand Acre Flat Trail #806 climbs up Coal Gulch with some steep places and tight switch backs.

Coal Basin Trail #859 is located in the West Elk Wilderness and is open for hiking and horseback riding.
Crater Lake Trail #800 begins at the parking lot on the north end of Overland Reservoir.
Curecanti Trail #870 from Beaver Reservoir is a well used trail that climbs through aspen and spruce forests to Minnesota Pass.
Dark Canyon Trail #830 follows Anthracite Creek up through the towering rock walls of Dark Canyon.
Dark Canyon-Munsey Tie-in Trail #830A is a short trail for hikers and horseback riders.
Drift Creek Trail #815 starts at Colorado Highway 133 and climbs up through brush country and aspen forest to the Drift Creek drainage.
Forest Trail #886 (Dyer Connection Trail) is 1.7 miles long and near the Town of Crawford.
Elk Basin Trail #854 switchbacks down a steep ridge through dense stands of aspen before ascending to the top of Haystack Mountain.
Gooseberry Trail #814 climbs up a small drainage until it tops out high on Huntsman Ridge near the 10,000 foot level.
Inter-Ocean Pass Trail #890 starts just past the Lone Cabin Reservoir and provides access to the summit of Mount Lamborn.
Lamborn Trail #894 passes between Mt. Lamborn and Landsend Peak and is open to hiking and horseback riding.
North Anthracite Trail #832 follows the North Anthracite Creek into the Anthracite Basin before it climbs steeply to Anthracite Pass.

Spud Pass Trail #824 works its way through aspen forest and parks to Deep Creek Lake.
Terror Trail #802 crosses Electric Mountain in an east to west direction and provides 360 degree views of the valley.
